Lucem House Community Cinema Plus+ has unveiled its October line-up, featuring a mix of romance, comedy, and horror.
The season kicks off with 'The Taste of Things' on Friday, October 4, at 7.30pm.
Set in late 19th-century France, the film stars Juliette Binoche in a romantic drama about a chef whose life changes after moving in with her mentor.
On Monday, October 7, at 1.30pm, the cinema will screen 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel'.
This 2011 comic drama follows seven British tourists in Jaipur and features an all-star cast including Judi Dench and Maggie Smith.
Tickets will cost £5.
'Blur: To the End' will be shown on Friday, October 11, at 7.30pm.
The documentary captures the 90s indie band Blur at their Wembley Stadium gigs last year.
'Steamboat Bill, Jr', a silent comedy by Buster Keaton, will be screened on Friday, October 18, at 7.30pm.
The film will have live musical accompaniment by Michael Holmes of the Stockport Plaza, and tickets are priced at £8.
'Starve Acre', a dark folk horror starring Matt Smith, will be screened on Friday, October 25, at 7.30pm.
The film follows an archaeologist who finds more than he bargained for when investigating a mythic folklore.
The Family Film Club will be showing 'Sing' on Saturday, October 26, at 11am.
The popular jukebox musical animation features the voices of Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon.
Tickets for adults are £5, children £1, and under 2s go free.
