A MOTORCYCLIST who was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash is in a "stable" condition, police have said.
The Star reported after emergency services rushed to Vista Road shortly before 10.15am on Friday, September 20 following the collision.
A Seat Tarraco car and a Yamaha motorbike were involved in the crash.
The motorcyclist was given first aid at the scene before he was taken to hospital.
A fire and rescue service spokesman said that the car had remained on all four wheels, with the two occupants of the car unharmed and out of the vehicle upon crews’ arrival.

North West Ambulance said the motorcyclist was taken to hospital "with suspected serious injuries".
An air ambulance had also attended the scene.
When asked today (Tuesday) for an update on his condition, a Merseyside Police spokesman said the man is in "a serious but stable" condition in hospital.
