THREE suspects were arrested after a man suffered facial injuries after violence broke out at an address.
Police swooped on a property on Queensland Avenue, in Thatto Heath last Thursday, September 19.
A man in his 30s suffered a head injury which needed medical treatment, police said.
Suspected drugs were also found at the address.
A 35-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both from St Helens, were arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm (ABH) and possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs, and were later conditionally bailed.
Meanwhile, a 34-year-old man, from St Helens, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, and has been released under investigation.
Police inquiries are ongoing.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We can confirm that three people were arrested following reports of an assault in Thatto Heath last week.
"At around 10.40am on Thursday, September 19, officers were called to an address on Queensland Avenue to reports of a disturbance.
"A man in his 30s sustained facial and head injuries, which required medical treatment.
"Suspected drugs were found at the address and seized. Inquiries are ongoing."
He added: "A 35-year-old man from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm; and possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.
"He has been conditionally bailed pending further inquiries.
"A 23-year-old woman from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm; and possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.
"She has been conditionally bailed pending further inquiries.
"A 34-year-old man from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of Conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
"He has been released under investigation pending further inquiries."
