A TRAIL of creative scarecrows has been installed across a village community in recent days.
Following on from a tradition that began in 2019, Rainhill residents have again taken part in the annual 'Rainhill Scarecrow Festival' to the delight of kids and families.
With people of all ages getting involved with the community project, around 26 scarecrows make up with trail, with some great creations including Team GB cyclists, Oasis members, and children's characters such as minions and Paddington bear.
Other designs have included spooky Halloween characters, large-scale dinosaurs, and even a photo booth design.
Building on the success of previous years, the Scarecrow Festival helps to bring the community together and creates a trail for residents to walk around and visit previously unexplored areas.
With the festival running from Saturday, September 14 to Saturday, September 21, local businesses have also been approached to sponsor the event to hand out prizes for the winning crows.
At the end of the festival, a photo album of all the crows will be set up for people to vote for their favourite designs.
