RESIDENTS have been left without electricity after a power cut some postcodes in the town today, Sunday.
Properties around Toll Bar have been affected by the issue since this morning.
Scottish Power says the power cut is due to a "fault" and was reported at 9.28am today.
In a statement, Scottish Power said: "We are aware of a fault in your area. If you require more information please call us on: Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and North Shropshire: 0800 001 5400."
Electricity is expected to be restored by 6.30pm today.

-Meanwhile, a separate power cut that hit residents around Thatto Heath this afternoon, has since been resolved.
The fault had affected postcodes WA102PR, WA95QF, WA95QH, WA95QN, WA95QP, WA95QR, WA95QS, WA95QW.
