ST HELENS young acting star Jude Riordan has been shortlisted in the TV Times Awards.
The 13-year-old from Lea Green, St Helens plays Sam Blakeman in ITV soap Coronation Street.
The young actor has won awards and acclaim after starring in some of Corrie's major storylines since joining the show when he was still at primary school.
Jude says he was "made up" to discover that he had been nominated for the Favourite Young Actor (Under 18) category in the TV Times Awards 2024.

His fellow Corrie star Isabella Flanagan has also been shortlisted.
The award is now open to a public vote.
Reacting to the news of his nomination, a post on Jude's Instagram page said: "This is so unexpected and I'm made up!
"Thank you @tvtimesmagazine LOOK at that category - wow! Ace to see my mates up there 😊
"If you'd like to vote for me I've put the link on my stories and in my bio - thank you all for always supporting me".
