THE site of a former youth centre in St Helens has been placed on the market, with the land earmarked for housing.
The area on which the former Windlehurst Youth Centre site on Gamble Avenue, Windlehurst once stood is on the market for £620,000.
Estate agents Fraser Reeves is advertising the land, which stands next to the Bishop Road sports playing fields, for sale on Right Move.
The agents, who described the area as "a prime piece of development land", say the site has planning permission for development, with the potential to create 12 high-quality homes with a new access road.
