A STRETCH of the M57 has been closed due to a police incident this morning, Thursday.
The motorway is closed in both directions between junctions three and four.

There are traffic delays in the area due to this.

Live traffic tracker INRIX states; "M57 both ways closed, delays due to police incident from J3 A526 Seth Powell Way (Stockbridge Village) to J4 A580 East Lancashire Road (Knowsley).
"Croxteth Lane is also closed, road has been blocked since 08:50am."
