FOUR motorbikes were snatched by thieves after they broke into a garage. 

The bikes were stolen from following the break-in Crossley Road, in Thatto Heath.

One of the bikes taken has been described as being of high-value, which remains missing.

Two other bikes are also still outstanding, with one having been returned to the owner after help from the public on Facebook.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We are appealing for information following a burglary in Thatto Heath.

"It was reported that four motorbikes were taken from a garage on Crossley Road at some point between 2.30pm on Sunday, September 1, and midday on Monday, September 2."
