POLICE are hunting would-be burglars who tried to break into a garage at a property during the night.
The attempted burglary took place at Hillbrae Avenue, in Moss Bank, in the early hours of Saturday, August 31.
At around 2am, officers were called to Hillbrae Avenue, to a report of men being seen near to the garage.
The offenders reportedly made off after being unable to gain entry into the garage. Nothing was stolen in the incident.
Police have appealed for information or footage after the attempted break-in.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We can confirm that inquiries are ongoing after a suspected attempted burglary in St Helens in the early hours of Saturday, August 31.
"At around 2am, officers were called to Hillbrae Avenue to reports of males being seen near to the garage of a property. They made off and no entry was gained or items stolen.
"If you saw the incident or live locally and captured anyone behaving suspiciously in the area on CCTV or other devices, contact us now @MerPolCC with reference 0102 of August 31."
