A VENUE that was hit by a burglary has reopened its doors and thanked the community for their support.

A burglar smashed their way into the Little George Quarter, on George Street, in St Helens during the early hours of Thursday, August 29.

The intimate café and wine bar was launched in 2023, and includes a ground floor bar and upstairs sports bar.

Police issued an appeal yesterday for information after the break-in.

It is understood there was one offender, who stole alcohol and caused damage at the premises.
