A FORMER St Helens schoolboy has starred in an ITV drama that has hit television screens this week.
Ex-De La Salle pupil Adam Long has featured in psychological thriller Platform 7, which is being broadcast on ITV1.
The four-part is based on the 2019 novel Platform Seven by Louise Doughty, with the final part being shown this evening, Thursday.
It tells the story of Lisa who witnesses a cataclysmic event on platform seven of a railway station and in her memory finds a connection between her own life and the event she witnessed.
Adam, 33, portrays Luke Warren in the series, who is the son of Edward Warren, the character played by veteran British actor Phil Davis.

Last year Adam was seen on TV screens in The Long Shadow, which dramatised the hunt for the serial killer Peter Sutcliffe aka the ‘Yorkshire Ripper’.
His CV also includes having played Lewis Whippey in Happy Valley and starring in other shows including Strike, Vera, The Thirteenth Tale and Waterloo Road.
He has also appeared on the big screen, having portrayed Sub-Lieutenant Jeffries in 2017 film Dunkirk, and in films including Peterloo and Spike Island.
