A RENOVATED restaurant and music venue will host a special performance of a renowned blues band alongside the St Helens Music Festival.
With Bruno's Rodizio well-known as a popular live music venue just outside St Helens town centre, this has continued as the business underwent a transformational rebrand earlier this year.
Now known as the Brickhouse Tavern, there has been a revamp of the premises and food menu at the Rigby Street venue, while its eclectic schedule of live music events has continued and strengthened.

With a four-month talent competition running to shine a light on talented and unsigned musicians, the Brickhouse will also host a Fleetwood Mac tribute band on Saturday, August 31 and the Monarch Blues Band on Sunday, September 1.
Described as one of the best live blues performers, the Monarchs will play alongside the St Helens Music Festival, which is hosting several musicians across various venues in the town centre.
Dex Nelson, one of the promoters at the Brickhouse, said: "The venue has been fully transformed into a Steakhouse with a fully equipped stage front and centre. As a complete entertainment venue bar side - you would be hard pressed to find this complete package in [cities like] Liverpool.
"The Monarchs have been voted [as] show of the year [and is] definitely the best visual band, with crusty blues vocals, lead and rhythm guitar, drums, high double bass, and the saxophone player bringing two horns the baritone is massive. They [also] dress the part for Blues old style R&B.
"The compliments from the [several live] bands rate The Brickhouse as one of the 'best live music venues' in the north west."
With several seating plans to suit each live performance, there has been a commitment to showcasing various genres of music at the Brickhouse, from country to blues and rock to jazz, to a plethora of tribute acts.
With a range of weekend performances scheduled throughout the rest of the year, and food available throughout the week, the Brickhouse Tavern is open Monday to Thursday from 4-10pm, Friday to Saturday from 12pm-1am, and Sunday from 12pm-9pm.
