EARLESTOWN'S indie heroes had a weekend to remember this Bank Holiday as they played some of the biggest gigs of their career.
It has been a huge year for The K's after scoring a Number 3 debut album with 'I Wonder If The World Knows?', being named the 'Breakthrough Artist of the Year' at a regional music ceremony, and playing to some of their biggest gigs and festivals to date.
Not one to forget their roots, the four-piece played an electric set at the revived Newton Music Festival earlier this month, and they capped off the Bank Holiday in style with three huge gigs and a long-term publishing deal with Notting Hill Music.

Promoted up to Reading and Leeds Festival's main stage, The K's played to huge crowds in Reading on Friday, August 23, and in Leeds on Sunday, August 25, with the former set televised on BBC iPlayer.
In between these two festival performances, the Earlestown band travelled to Manchester to support Blossoms' huge 'Live in Wythenshawe Park' on Saturday, August 24.
Referencing the huge moment in their careers, The K's posted a statement on social media.
It reads: "A weekend to remember. Thank you to each and every one of you for making it so special.
"And another big thanks and congratulations to Blossoms for having us and putting on such a special show."
With the K's playing shows to crowds across the continent this summer, the band has a handful of festival and gig performances scheduled for the rest of the year.
The band will also support Jamie Webster on his UK tour and has recently been nominated as the 'Best Live Performer' at the Independent Music Awards.
Speaking about the band's publishing deal, Notting Hill Music’s head of creative, John Saunderson, said: “From the first moment we heard The K’s we knew we had to sign this band.
"They are a generational talent and we are so excited to see how far and how fast they go on from here.”
