APPICATIONS have been made to install new signage at railway stations in the borough.
Plans to install signs at St Helens Junction and Rainhill stations have been sent in to council planners.

One application seeks permission for four non-illuminated signs at St Helens Junction, in Sutton.
Meanwhile, another application has been put forward for three signs at Rainhill station.
The applications are on public consultation on the St Helens Council planning portal.
