TWO extra late-night services will run between Manchester and Liverpool for music fans who don’t want to miss the encore.
Fans of singer-song writer Noah Kahan and pop star Niall Horan can now book on to the train operator’s special late-night services.
The first of the late night services will depart from Manchester Victoria at 12:28am on Wednesday, August 14 after the ‘Heaven’ singer performs at his Tuesday night gig held at Co-op Live Arena.
This train will stop at Newton-le-Willows and Lea Green before arriving at Liverpool Lime Street.
Another late-night service will run from Manchester Piccadilly at 1:06am on Wednesday, August 28 direct to Liverpool Lime Street for fans returning from Niall Horan’s set on Tuesday night.
Kathryn O’Brien, Customer Experience & Transformation Director at TransPennine Express, said: “We are pleased to be able to offer these extra services to help get fans home after enjoying these concerts.
“We’re asking our customers to plan ahead and check before they travel as services may be busy.
Fans who haven’t yet purchased their rail tickets to travel to the concert can do so via TPE’s website here, or via the train operator's app.
