DETECTIVES have arrested a twelfth suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of Rikki Berry.

At around 6.35pm on Wednesday, July 17, 36-year-old Mr Berry is reported to have been shot and killed Quarryside Drive, in Kirkby.

On Tuesday, August 6, a 26-year-old man from Kirkby was arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of a firearm.

He has been taken into police custody to be interviewed.

On Friday, July 26, detectives charged Adam Williams with murder.

Police gave Willliams' address as on Bigdale Drive, Kirkby. When the 25-year0old appeared in court he entered an address as of Hamblett Crescent, St Helens. 

Williams is next due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, November 1.

Detectives have arrested a total of 12 people in connection with the investigation.
