THE ever-popular Newton Town Show seems to be growing from strength to strength as it celebrated its "busiest year yet".
The Newton and Earlestown Community Group revived the Newton Town Show back in 2013 and it has become an increasingly bigger attraction over the past eleven years.
With a wide range of activities provided for people of all ages, the festival prides itself on bringing the community together in Newton-le-Willows.
Ran entirely by volunteers, the latest Show took place at Mesnes Park on Saturday, August 3, with a "mind blowing attendance" coming out in support of the event.

On a sunny Saturday afternoon, there was a host of activities for people to get involved with, including a funfair, bouncy castle, and inflatables for kids to get involved with.
There was also a selection of classic cars on show, as well as a military cavalry, RAF flyover, and an artillery display.
Musicians and brass bands provided live entertainment, while a variety of food and drink vendors helped to feed and refresh the attendees.
The Town Show was followed by the return of Newton Music Festival, with Malarky, Asian Blonde, Meduulla, The Rolling People, The Lottery Winners, and The K's providing live entertainment throughout the night.
One of the organisers of the event, Councillor for Newton-le-Willows East, Seve Gomez-Aspron said: "Newton and Earlestown Community Group work hard all year round to drum up sponsorship to allow us to keep Newton Town Show free entry with something for everyone to enjoy!
"So we thank THINK! Estate Agents for their continued sponsorship and support. A big thanks also goes to ECF, Parkside Regen, Huyton Civil Engineering, MUSE Developments, Stagecoach Dance, Aurelle Bridal, Town Furnishings Earlestown, Hope Academy, St Helens College, and Newton Sea Cadets.
"The attendance this year was mind blowing and easily our busiest yet!
"We’d also like to thank St Helens Borough Council for their support through the Events Group and all council staff who keep our parks safe and nice. Particularly our local Park Ranger, Colin Pinder who is a hard working legend.
"The Music Festival was a fantastic new addition following the Town Show and was an amazing evening with local talent the Ks and The Lottery Winners making it an amazing night.
"Onwards to next year!".
