TRAIN services were disrupted after a lorry crashed into a bridge at St Helens Central railway station this morning, Wednesday.
Northern said that rail services ran at reduced speeds following the collision earlier today.
In a statement at 11.10am this morning, Northern said: "Due to a lorry colliding with a bridge at St Helens Central trains have to run at reduced speed on all lines.
"Train services running through this station will be delayed by up to 15 minutes.
"Network Rail engineers are expected on site shortly."

Shortly before noon, the disruption to services was ended and services returned to normal again.
