A MAN had admitted to charges criminal damage and assault before magistrates. 

Callum Miller, of Park Street, Fingerpost, appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Friday, July 26.

Miller, 24, pleaded guilty to three counts of criminal damage, one count of assault by beating, and one count of using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

He assaulted his victim, a male, at Sidac Sports and Social Club, in Sutton Leach, on Saturday, December 23 last year.

He caused damage to the victim's glasses, to the value of £237.

Miller also damaged a wing mirror belonging to the same victim, worth £660, in the town centre.

Miller also used threatening words or behaviour towards him at Cables taxi rank, on Waterloo Street, on December 24.

The defendant also damaged a window at the taxi rank on the same date. 

A sentencing date was set, with Miller due to appear back at the magistrates' court on September 2. 

He was granted unconditional bail until then.
