A PROVISIONAL trial date has been set for a man charged with the murder of Rikki Berry.
Adam Williams, 25, appeared before a judge at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday, July 29, charged with murder.
At around 6.35pm on Wednesday, July 17, 36-year-old Mr Berry is reported to have been shot and killed Quarryside Drive, in Kirkby.
In Monday's hearing, Williams was remanded in custody with a provisional trial date of January 20, 2025 listed, with an estimated duration of two to three weeks.
After charging him, police had given Williams' address as of Bigdale Drive, Kirkby.
However, when he appeared for a magistrates' court appearance on Friday, Williams entered an address of Hamblett Crescent, St Helens.

Meanwhile, on Monday police confirmed that a woman has been arrested in connection with the murder.
The 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in Shrewsbury, in a joint operation with West Mercia Police, and taken to a police station for questioning.
In a statement, Merseyside Police added: "Inquiries continue so we would continue to urge people with information to contact the investigation team via Public Portal (mipp.police.uk).
