POLICE arrested two men alleged to have entered a property subject to a closure order.

Officers said two men were seen entering the property on Rodney Street, in Newtown, St Helens, on Tuesday, July 23.

Two suspects were found by officers a short time later, and were arrested.

A partial closure order had been slammed on an address in Rodney Street in June, following issues around drugs and anti-social behaviour, police said.

The only person permitted to enter the address is the owner and occupier. Any other person found at the address is liable for arrest.
