A 25-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the murder of Rikki Berry.

At around 6.35pm on Wednesday, July 17, 36-year-old Rikki Berry is reported to have been shot and killed Quarryside Drive in Kirkby.

Detective arrested three people in in Oswestry, Shropshire on Wednesday, July 24, and have now charged Adam Williams, of Bigdale Drive, Kirkby, with murder.

He was remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool magistrates court this afternoon.

A 24-year-old man of no fixed abode and a 21-year-old woman from Kirkby, have both been bailed pending further enquiries.

Police had previously arrested six people as part of their investigation, including a 20-year-old man and 26-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

A 19-year-old woman, 15-year-old boy,a 22-year-old man, and a 50-year-old woman, all from Prescot, were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
