A TRIAL date has been set for a man arrested after armed police were called to an incident in Northwich.

Officers responding to a suspected domestic incident in Dunster Close, Leftwich, on Friday, July 5, detained Mohammed Tahir Ashraf.

The 56-year-old, of Standford Drive, Leftwich, was later charged with one count of repeatedly engaging in coercive or controlling behaviour in an intimate or family relationship.
