What do you love about taking pictures?
It captures a moment in time that can be shared and kept as memories in the future.

Where is your favourite place to take pictures and why?
I enjoy visiting Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire. I can’t really say I have a definite favourite place as each if these counties are special to me. I live so close to Carr Mill Dam so I love to explore around there and into Billinge, Garswood and Crank. There are so many fantastic walks on our doorstep.
What is your favourite subject matter and why?
Definitely nature first but I also love traditional places like the canal system through the country and the Victorian era of old parks and architecture.

What do you enjoy about being part of our Camera Club on Facebook?
I’m new here so will enjoy the journey of learning other people’s craft.
If you could photograph anyone/any place/anything, who/what would it be?
As I’ve never done it, sea turtles in the Greek islands at both daytime and dusk would be amazing.
