A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of cannabis dealing after police stopped a car on the East Lancashire Road.
Officers arrested a 26-year-old suspect in St Helens yesterday.
At around 10.50am on Monday, July 22, an officer from Merseyside Police Matrix Roads Policing Unit stopped a Ford C-Max, near to Rainford.
Upon carrying out a search of the car a food delivery bag was recovering containing a large bag of cannabis bush.

The driver of the car, a 26-year-old man from Todmorden, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug Class B (cannabis) and drug driving.
He has been released under investigation pending further inquiries.
'Fatal 4'
Police forces are coming together in a national operation to tackle the ‘Fatal 4’ behaviours which cause a spike in road users being killed or seriously injured during the month of July.
Fatal 4 includes: speeding, driving under the influence of drink or drugs, not wearing a seatbelt and mobile phone use.
