AFTER an impressive launch last month in St Helens, Pop Up Market Co will return to Church Square again on Saturday, July 27.

The artisan market drew strong crowds and high praise when it made its debut in town, with shoppers giving a thumbs up to its arrival.

A number of local businesses also told the Star it was a welcome addition, as it boosted footfall to the town centre.

Traders will be hopefully of better weather after last month's launch was accompanied by showers.

A spokesperson for Pop Up Market Co said: "The support we received for our launch market was unreal.

"Despite the rain in the morning we had sell outs by midday, record breaking sales recorded by one of our traders and our crafting station was loved by the children.

"We genuinely can’t thank you all enough for the support and hope to see you back for the St Helens monthly Pop Up Market at the end of the month.

"Joining us on Church Square are an incredible bunch of creators showcasing their homemade wares, from brownies and cheesecakes, funny mugs and coasters, disco ball planters and jewellery plus live music by the brilliant Tallulah."

Visitors should expect more variety this time around too.

The Pop Up Market Co's spokesperson added: "We have a few new faces joining us as well this time so each market will be different, showcasing new and exciting artisans each month.

"It was incredible seeing everyone shopping local and supporting small independent businesses at the last market.

"We had sell outs all round so be sure to get down early this month and get your market goodies in time."

Free kids crafts

This month there will be a free kids crafting station at the market focusing on national marine week.

There be a selection of large shells for the children to paint and decorate to take home and treasure.

The market will be on Church Street and Church Square WA10 1BD  between 10am - 4pm on Saturday, July 27.
