FOR one night only, Knowsley Hall will host guests for a Murder Mystery Night, inside the hall which is one of the most historical in the region.
On Friday, August 2 guests who fancy themselves as a bit of a Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot can step forward as guests are cordially invited to the wedding reception of high school sweethearts, Jack and Jill Smith. The vows have been exchanged and the party is in full swing when the evening takes a turn, and it is evident that not everyone may have been so happy for the happy couple.
The chilling evening begins at 7pm and includes a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival, followed by a delicious three-course meal in the State Dining Room before guests embark on the fully interactive Murder Mystery Entertainment Event brought to Knowsley Hall by Murder 57.
Once the mystery has been solved and the perpetrator exposed, guests can rest easy and enjoy the rest of the evening on the dancefloor. The magic of the evening can also be extended with an overnight stay in one of Knowsley Hall’s magnificent en-suite bedrooms.
Michael Hamilton, General Manager at Knowsley Hall said: “We’re very excited to be hosting what promises to be an enthralling and incredibly memorable event at Knowsley Hall.
"The venue, which is steeped in history and elegance is the ideal setting for an evening of intrigue and, given the popularity of Knowsley Hall, we felt it offered an opportunity for us to showcase the Earl and Countess of Derby’s home in a truly unique fashion.
“Tickets are limited, so I encourage people to act quickly if they’d like a seat at the ill-fated newlyweds’ wedding reception!”
Event tickets cost £125pp, event tickets plus bed and breakfast overnight stay for two cost £500 and both are available via the website here.
