A MAN has been extradited from Dubai in connection with alleged drugs offences.
Officers from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit have been working on a drugs investigation which they believed involved a man from Rainhill.
Following this investigation, Paul Cahoon, of Porter Close, Rainhill, was detained by police officers in Dubai and extradited back to the UK, with assistance from the NCA Extradition Unit, on Thursday, July 11.

Police have confirmed that Cahoon has since been charged on conspiracy to supply Class A and Class B drugs on Friday, July 12.
The 47-year-old appeared at Wirral Magistrates Court and was subsequently remanded into custody.
Cahoon will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 9 August 2024.
