SPORTS Traider is set to re-open its Church Square store after a brief closure.

The store is now trading as usual, in line with Church Square’s opening hours.

Sports Traider, which has shops in other areas of the region including Birkenhead, Bootle and Crosby, look to provide opportunities and assist with activities to lead young people away from a life of crime.

Shoppers reported seeing the shutters down at the Church Square unit in recent weeks, leading to questions over its future.

The charity was set up more than ten years ago, with a mission to “give young people employment opportunities”.
