A COURT has passed a Contingent Destruction Order on a pit bull dog.
Anthony Byrne, of Ellen Street, Sutton, appeared back before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, July 3.
Byrne, 42, had pleaded guilty before magistrates to the charge of possession of a fighting dog, contrary to the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, in April.
He admitted to having possession of a pit bull-type dog called Nala on February 29 this year.

At the April hearing, Byrne's sentencing was adjourned at the request of the defence for a temperament report to be prepared for Nala.
At the sentencing, district judge Wendy Lloyd imposed a contingent destruction order for the dog to be kept under proper control.
Byrne was fined £100 and made to pay costs of £85 and a surcharge of £40.
