FORGE Fitness will host its second Warrior Games next month in memory of a beloved mum who passed away from brain cancer.
Last July, mum-of-two Jennifer Roscoe passed away with a glioblastoma brain tumour after a courageous four year battle with cancer.
Mum to Emmy and Aria, Jennifer raised more than £2,000 for the Brain Tumour Research charity while battling with cancer, and her husband David described her as an "inspirational mum who changed so many people's lives with her journey".
Following Jennifer's tragic passing, her friends Gary and Lisa Crickson have followed in her fundraising footsteps and will host their second 'Warrior Games' at the Forge Fitness gym next month.

Over the years, Gary and Lisa have organised numerous charity fundraisers to support the community in St Helens, such as Christmas workouts for local hospices, charity fitness challenges, and Easter Egg collections.
Taking place on Saturday August 3, the Warrior Games will be a day of competitive events for entrants, tests of strength of fitness, and prizes to be won, all in aid money for Brain Tumour Research.
Gary said: ‘It’s not just a fundraiser for us, although that is incredibly important, it is about remembering Jen, her unwavering spirit, her tenacity and her fight against this devastating cancer.
"She was constantly trying to help others despite her own battle."
Out of the money pledged from the Government, it has been reported that Brain Tumour Research has only received around 11% of this to date.
The charity has campaigned and petitioned the government to keep awareness going with events like World Hat Day, which Jen's husband campaigned for, and lighting up the Steve Prescot Bridge in yellow and pink in Jen's memory.
Lisa added: "Jen was so inspirational, and devoted much of her time to raising awareness as well as funds to help the Charity.
"The Warrior Games is our promise to her, to continue her work, and keep the awareness going – because tragically this is the biggest killer of children and young people under 40 – and Jen was trying to raise awareness in the hopes one day they will find a cure and save another family going through the same fate as her own.
"She is loved and missed more than words can convey but this is the way we can pull together positively and continue to support her incredible husband, David and their two beautiful girls and family."
To support or donate you can purchase a £5 spectators’ ticket, even if you are unable to attend, to help raise funds for the Brain Tumour Research Charity. Contact Gary or Lisa via socials or website here.
