TO mark National Camera Day, we asked St Helens Star readers and members of St Helens Star Camera Club to share the best photo they've taken in St Helens.

We had some stunning shots sent in!

There were sunsets and summer blooms as well as feathered friends and waterways.

The Camera Club is a supportive and friendly group of amateur and professional photographers and as well as submitting photos taken recently, members also take part in regular themed challenges like historic buildings, symmetry and walks in the park.

You can join 1, 040 others in our camera club on Facebook at facebook.com/groups/sthelensstarcameraclub
