A MAN will be summonsed to court in connection with alleged motoring offences after police seized an electric scooter near the Dream statue.
While on patrol, Local Policing and Roads Policing Unit officers saw a suspect riding a high-powered e-scooter on Sunday at the former Sutton Manor Colliery site.
He suddenly dumped it in the bushes and ran, police said.
The vehicle was seized as it was suspected to have been driven without a licence and insurance.

Police said that the suspect's mother later asked them for the vehicle back and officers refused, and were able to obtain his details.
A 25-year-old man from Clock Face will be summonsed to court in relation to numerous alleged traffic offences, officers confirmed.
