MOTORISTS were disrupted rush hour delays on the East Lancashire Road this morning following reports of an accident.
The incident happened at junction 23 with the M6 at Haydock.
Traffic monitoring service Inrix reported a section of the East Lancashire Road westbound was partially blocked.
There were reports of slow traffic around the Haydock area.
The stretch of the East Lancs has since been reopened.
