PLANS for the installation of a telephone box to store a defibrillator unit in Clock Face have been submitted.

Bold Parish Council’s application proposing it on land opposite 5 Oaks Close has been put forward.

An e-mail from Cllr Allen Makin is among the planning documents that have been uploaded.

In the e-mail, he says: “This would be the sixth defibrillator that the parish council has installed in locations around the parish.

“The design caters for both adult and paediatric sudden cardiac arrest victims, with the versatility to activate a child mode.

“Additionally, the device offers optional wi-fi connectivity for automatic reporting of device status, providing reassurance that the AED is ready for emergencies.”
