POLICE have confirmed that they were in attendance in Whiston following the "non-suspicious" death of a man.
Residents reported seeing officers in attendance in the area of 'The Cricky', on Windy Arbor Road, at around lunchtime on Sunday, June 23.
When asked about this, a Merseyside Police spokesman confirmed that a man had died.

He added that this was "a non-suspicious death".
The matter will be referred to coroner, the spokesman added.
