THERE is heavy traffic on the M6 near St Helens following a crash.
The incident happened on M6 northbound between junction 23, Haydock, and junction 24, Ashton-in-Makerfield.
It happened specifically in the roadworks area.
Two lanes are closed as a result and long queues are stretching back past junction 22, Winwick.
