A DRIVER suffered injuries to his leg and chest during a crash on the East Lancs last night.
As reported, emergency services were called to reports of a collision between a Honda Civic and a Ford transit camper on the dual carriageway, close to the junction of Green Leach Lane at 9.55pm on Sunday.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "The driver of the Honda suffered an injury to his leg and chest. There are no reports of any serious injuries to the occupants of the camper van.

"North West Ambulance Service attended the scene.
"Enquiries remain ongoing."
The crash led to the closure on the Manchester-bound section of the road, between Haresfinch and Moss Bank.
