EARLESTOWN rockers The K's will play at one of the world's most famous festivals this summer.

Fresh from the release of their debut album 'I Wonder If the World Knows?' and their biggest UK tour to date, the K's are at the start of an exciting selection of summer shows.

With the Earlestown four-piece already playing a date at Deleste Festival in Spain last month, they will also play Isle of Wight Festival, Leeds Festival, Camp Bestival, along with other dates in the UK and France, Germany, and Malta.

Gaining a large and loyal fan base for their up-tempo tunes and raucous live shows, the band have also confirmed that they will play at the Woodsies stage at Glastonbury Festival on Sunday, June 30.

Around the time of the K's album release in April, a large mural of the album artwork appeared on the exterior wall of the Citadel Theatre and a Church Square pop-up shop allowed fans to meet the band and get their hands on signed copies of the album, singles, rarities, and merchandise.

Highlighting the K's growing reach, fans travelled from far and wide to visit the St Helens pop-up, with one couple making a 600-mile round trip from Devon to meet the band.

The band were also recognised at the inaugural Northern Music Awards in April, taking home the award for 'Breakthrough Act of the Year'.

Speaking to the Star at the pop-up shop, Jamie said: "The response to the album and pop-up shop has been overwhelming, to be honest.

"For people to be making 600 mile round trips is just amazing, and everyone just seems to really love the album and have really connected to it. Every review seems to be four and five stars too.

"We have always been a live band so we love that connection we have with our fans, and to meet them face to face and have a conversation with them has been special."
