A ST HELENS man has been charged with offences including threatening a person with a knife and possession of offensive weapons.
The suspect was charged after police were called to a domestic disturbance at a house in Kirkby on the afternoon of Saturday, June 1.

Declan Leyland, of Sorogold Street, Fingerpost, has been charged with two counts of common assault; two counts of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place; possession of an offensive weapon in a private place; two counts of sending communication threatening death or serious harm and threatening a person with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place.
Leyland, 21, was due to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Monday (June 3).
