A MYSTERY man from Merseyside is “set for life” after winning the national lottery.

The man, known only as Mr. D, has won £10,000 a month for one year after matching the five main numbers in the Set For Life draw on Thursday, May 9.

The lucky winner plans to use his winnings on home improvements.

The Merseyside local, who played a Lucky Dip via the National Lottery app, has become one of over eight million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games.

Set For Life is a draw-based game from The National Lottery.
