THE new international manicurist of the year 2024 lives and works in St Helens!
Dominika Jedrzejczak has been in the beauty industry for eight years, winning awards and national honours along the way.
She has added the Social Media Hair and Beauty Awards International Manicurist of the Year to her growing collection.
The 32-year-old opened her first salon two years ago but quickly outgrew the space and needed bigger premises.

Her business has continued to grow and Dominika Nails St Helens is still thriving in Golden Beauty by Dominika.
She has a dream team of four working at the College Street salon and after growing up in Poland has now spent more than half her life living in St Helens.
Dominika said: “Nails has always my passion.
“I love having my nails done and my adventure started when I was in Poland.
“When my husband and I decided to come to England, I knew that I wanted to do nails.
“Someone once said that if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life and this is so true.”
She added: “We went to Cardiff to attend the awards ceremony and it was great to see so many people at the event – more than 200 attendees from the hair and beauty industry.
“It’s hard to describe how it feels to win such an amazing award and my nerves got the better of me as I forgot which two languages I speak when I accepted the award!”
