A MAN from St Helens has been charged with drug offences as part of ongoing work to tackle county lines drug dealing.
Merseyside Police's county lines taskforce, as part of Project Medusa, arrested a 33-year-old man while on patrol in Shaw Street, St Helens, on Thursday, May 23.
Michael Blackburn, 33, of Fleet Lane, St Helens, has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (crack cocaine and cocaine), possession of criminal property and possession of a controlled Class B drug (cannabis).

Blackburn was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court today, Friday, May 24.
Project Medusa is the Merseyside-led initiative to tackle County Lines drug dealing and criminal exploitation across the country.
