A MAN has been charged after police were called to reports a man had been seen in possession of a knife.
Officers attended Fairfield Road, in Dentons Green, shortly before 3pm on Friday, May 17.
A police spokeswoman said they received reports a man had been seen in possession of a knife.
She confirmed a 49-year-old suspect has since been charged.
Gareth Conqueror, of Mallory Grove, Laffak, was charged with possession of a knife/sharp pointed article in a public place.
He was bailed and is due to appear in court on the charge on Monday, June 24.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We were called to Fairfield Road at 2.50pm on Friday, May 17, to reports a male had been seen in possession of a knife.
"Gareth Conqueror, 49, of Mallory Grove, St Helens, has been charged with possession of a knife/sharp pointed article in a public place.
"He was bailed to appear in court on June 24."
