ANOTHER open evening for prom wear is set to take place next week for people to take home glamorous clothes at no cost.

Teardrops Supporting Your Community on Crab Street is hosting a second event following the success of the first a month ago in a bid to help people struggling with the cost-of-living crisis.

The event will include prom dresses, suits, shoes, heels, accessories and more available.

Some are brand new with tags on still.

St Helens Star:

The event will take place on Thursday, May 23 from 4pm to 7pm and no booking is required.

Year 11 students must attend with a parent, guardian, sibling aged 18+.

Students are free to take a look at the prom wear, try items on and take a dress/suit home with them if they find something they like.

Anyone who attends will be kept confidential and anonymous.

If you can’t make it speak to your high school who can arrange a visit.
