A TOWN centre pub has been placed on the market.
The Wheatsheaf on Westfield Street has become the latest building on Westfield Street to be listed for sale on the St Helens town centre street.
It has been empty for several years, although there have been adverts for a landlord to take on the tenancy.
Now Manchester-based estate agents Fleurets has listed the pub for sale, with an asking price of £225,000.
The "wet led" pub has open plan space, a beer garden, a large-single storey extension and a two-bed bed private flat above.

The property advertisement states it may suit "alternative use".
The sale comes as debate continues over the future of Westfield Street - typically known as a lively part of St Helens town centre's nightlife.
A number of pubs in the area have closed in recent years and there have been calls for a push towards a more varied mix of businesses and venues along the street.
