AN APPLICATION has been submitted by a special needs school seeking permission for temporary classrooms.
Proposals for Mill Green School, in Parr, have been sent to council planners.
The application seeks permission for a certificate of lawfulness for proposed temporary classroom buildings at Mill Green, on Lansbury Avenue.

The application form says they are "required for overspill" until new permanent classrooms are ready.
The temporary mobile classrooms will be situated on "existing hardstanding" and will be on site for a period "not exceeding" two years, as "outlined in the Town and Country Planning Act".
A decision by council planners is expected by June 27.
