A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car this afternoon, Monday.
A cyclist and a silver Mercedes were involved in the collision on Millbrook Lane, Eccleston at around 4.30pm today, May 13.
The cyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries, a police spokeswoman said.
The driver of a silver Mercedes car stopped at the scene, police said.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We received a report of a collision involving a cyclist and a car at around 4.40pm on Millbrook Lane in Eccleston today, Monday, May 13.
"The cyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
"The driver of a silver Mercedes car stopped at the scene.
"Anyone with information on this incident including CCTV and dashcam footage is asked to contact @MerPolCC on Twitter or ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook with reference 706 of May 13.
