A MAN accused of murdering his wife is due to stand trial from today (Monday).
Stuart Robertson had denied murder at a plea and trial preparation on March 8 at Liverpool Crown Court.
Dawn Robertson was found unresponsive inside a house in Cannon Street in Clock Face on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 15, last year.
Paramedics attended but the 62-year-old's death was confirmed.

During a previous court hearing last November, judge Andrew Menary KC said that the "allegation is this defendant violently killed his wife by strangling her”.
In February, Robertson had issued a guilty plea to a count of manslaughter.
The 69-year-old, who is remanded in custody, issued a not guilty plea to a murder charge as he appeared back at the court in March.
A trial is scheduled to start from Monday, May 13, at Liverpool Crown Court.
It is estimated to last five to seven days.
